Food Vendor Rules and Guidelines
- Food booths must be completely set up and vehicles out of the booth area by 8:00 a.m. You must park only in designated parking areas - no parking will be permitted in food booth areas.
- Two food booth passes are provided to military personnel who are affiliated with the festival. You must accept these food passes for sandwiches, French fries, and will be reimbursed 50 cents for each food pass used at your booth. Beverage passes are to be used only at Coke wagons. If you accept beverage passes at your booth, you will not be reimbursed for them. Food passes need to be submitted during the week of May 9, 2014, only.
- For set-up on Friday evening, the earliest arrival time is 5:30 p.m. Anyone who arrives before 5:30 p.m. will be required to wait - NO EXCEPTIONS! Because of Iimited space, booth spaces are 10' x 10'. If your booth exceeds these measurements, accommodations will not be made - NO EXCEPTIONS! Please keep this in mind in order for our set-up to go smoothly.
-All foods requested may not be accepted. You will receive a confirmation letter stating which food items have been approved for sale. Food items not listed on the confirmation letter cannot be sold. If you sell an item not approved, you will be asked to remove this item. and this will jeopardize your chances of returning to our festival in future years.
-The undersigned does hereby release and forever discharge the Festival Committee, its principals, and anyone affiliated with the Glennville Sweet Onion Festival from any responsibility whatsoever, for damages or loss in any part of, or all of, any exhibit, and gives the Festival Committee the right to refuse or terminate any exhibit if exhibit does not meet Festival Committee standards. The undersigned vendor shall indemnify and hold harmless the Glennville Sweet Onion Festival Committee from any and all damages, including attorney's fees and other costs of representation, arising from any cause of action against the Glennville Sweet Onion Festival Committee for personal injury or property damage arising out of use of the premises by the vendor or from any cause of action arising out of any negligence from the vendor.
